WHO WE ARE

We are Ray and Lynn Burelle, we moved from Ontario to BC. A carpenter by trade, Ray was commissioned to build a house. We originally planned on staying for 2 years but, we fell in love with Vancouver Island and its people, so we stayed. We started making soap as a hobby and had to support the new obsession, so we began selling our soap at local markets. We thought that if we purchased larger quantities, we could cut back on prices. We purchased our first barrel of coconut oil. After a week of making soap, we realized it would take a long time for us to go through it all. We decided to make it available to the other soap artisans we met at markets. Before we knew it, that one barrel of coconut oil was gone, so we purchased another one. Well, that one got sold, so, we bought another couple of barrels. We enjoyed making the raw material available to soap and skincare artisans on the island and, It’s Not Just Soap was born. 

Our motto is “Quality Products, Fair Prices,  Superior Service, and no Compromising on Value.”
